Air release Valves
Air Release Valves: AVFI air release valve models include the Dorot series full bore air release/vacuum break valves for potable water application and AVFI’s own established Australian Made air release valve range, the ARV-3N & ARV-4N, which are suitable for wastewater, sewerage and coal seam gas pipelines or systems. Ball Valves
Ball Valves: AVFI ball valve range includes; 316 stainless steel range – Available in 1,2 and 3 piece configuration. Design options include flanges to Australian and ANSI Standards or BSP thread. AVFI’s ball valves are available in full bore, reduced bore, T & L port, ISO mount pads and ball valves for fire safe applications are available. AVFI stocks ball valves in sizes from DN 08 (1/4 inch) to DN 300 (12 inch) and pressure ratings varies from 800 PSI (206 bar) to 1000 PSI (70 bar). AVFI’s FIP thermoplastic ball valves are available in both 2 way and 3 way configuration including T & L port. Dismantling Joints
AVFI’s AFD10 and AFD20 dismantling joints are double flanged that provides easy installation and disassembly of flanged pipe and associated equipment including valves, meters and pumps. The AFD10 and AFD20 are widely used for a variety of applications in the water and waste water sectors, mining and industrial sectors. The operating principle behind the AFD10 and AFD20 is that the centre sealing flange is drawn closer to the mating flange, thereby compressing the rubber sealing ring to achieve a complete seal. So simple, yet so efficient and practical. The AFD10 features a single tie rod connecting all three flanges. The AFD20 features an end to end tie rod and a separate tie rod for the sealing flange. It is recommended to check with your local authority too confirm which series is permitted for your application.

Dorot modulating level float valve (pilot controlled) are designed for commercial or industrial applications. This range of pilot operated diaphragm valves provide maximum flow and are usually installed in the pipeline away from the storage tank or reservoir, for ease of maintenance. The float valve is installed inside the tank wall or reservoir; it controls the opening and closing of the pilot operated valve via a hydraulic line.

Dorot electric level float valve is operated by an electric sensor float which is installed inside the tank wall or reservoir. The sensor float sends a command to a solenoid control valve to open or close via low voltage wires. The command to open or close will depend on whether the sensor is in a low or raised position. This float arrangement provides an accurate and repeatable differential level control.

Globe Valves
AVFI globe valves (shut-off valves) are available in stainless steel or cast iron materials, the globe valves range in sizes from DN 15 (15 mm) to DN 300 (300 mm). Globe valves are pressure rated to16 bar with flange or BSP end connections. Refer to appropriate data sheet for full details on AVFI globe valves.
Knife Gate Valves
AVFI’s uni & bi-directional knife gate valves are available with a wide range of body and sealing types, including semi lugged or fully lugged body with an open shroud or bonnet options. Our standard knife gate valves are fitted with resilient seats, a metal seat knife gate valve option is available on request. AVFI’s knife gate valves range in sizes from DN 50 (50 mm) to DN 1500 (1.5 metres) and stocked knife gate valves pressure ratings vary up to PN 10 (10 Bar). For higher pressure applications please contact AVFI. Stocked knife gate valves are available in epoxy coated cast iron and stainless steel. As valve specialists AVFI can provide riser extensions & automate your valves with either electric or pneumatic actuators, in a fast turn-a-round time. AVFI’s uni & bi-directional knife gate valves are made to the highest quality and adhere to Australian standards in both our epoxy coated cast iron & 316 stainless steel valve range. Viton (for Uni-directional) & NBR (for bi-directional) seals are standard providing a superior seal, also available with optional PTFE and metal seats upon request. Needle Valves
Needle valves are used for flow metering applications. AVFI needle valves are available in stainless steel material and range in sizes from DN 08 (8 mm) to DN 25 (25 mm). The needle valves have a pressure rating of 6000 PSI (414 bar), are available with BSP connections. PTFE body seals are standard with AVFI needle valves. The AVFI solenoid valve range includes direct acting, latching type and pilot assist solenoid valves. AVFI solenoid valves are available in a range of materials such as brass, stainless steel and plastic. End connections have BSP threads that range in sizes from DN 8 up to DN 50 and flange end connections from DN 50 up to DN 100 and NBR or Viton Diaphragm (seals) are available. AVFI solenoid valve range also includes Namur solenoid valves, predominately used to enhance control options when interfaced with AVFI pneumatic actuators. Options include normally closed and normally open. Both options are available in all standard voltages including 12 volt, 24 volt and 240 volt in AC or DC. 110 volt AC coils are also available. Vibration Eliminators
AVFI’s vibration eliminators also called “rubber expansion joints” or “vibroshocks”, are an ideal pipe joint providing high flexibility, high tightness and good resistance to medium and climate. AVFI’s vibration eliminators are widely used in pipeline projects to manage pipe work expansion, vibration, slight misalignment and where inline chemicals transfer is involved. AVFI’s vibration eliminators are available with mild steel and stainless steel rings with design options including single sphere and double sphere. Water Meters
AVFI stocks an extensive range of Water Meters for clean hot and cold water applications and is Australia’s national distributor for the following well known international brands. AVFI’s ALFA series of water meters are very competitively priced they are a single jet dry vane wheel type with magnetic drive. The ALFA water meters are available in both 15 mm and 20 mm MI BSP threads. AVFI’s BETA series of water meters are a heavy duty multi jet dry vane wheel type with magnetic drive. The BETA water meters range in sizes from 15 mm to 50 mm MI BSP threads. AVFI’s OMEGA (flanged) series of water meters are fitted with a reed switch for pulse output, conform to Australian standards and are epoxy coated for long life corrosion protection.
